Have you ever felt the weight of a decision that could change everything? The fear, the uncertainty, the “what ifs” racing through your mind? This week at Heirloom Church, we’re diving into Nehemiah 2, where we see that favor follows faith.
Nehemiah, a cupbearer to the king, stepped out in bold faith to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. It wasn’t easy—he waited four months, wrestled with fear, and took a leap of faith in the face of incredible odds. But as Nehemiah prayed, planned, and trusted, God’s favor met him in motion, opening doors only He could open.
This message will challenge you to:
Take courageous steps toward God’s calling, even when fear looms large.
Trust God’s timing in seasons of waiting, knowing He is working behind the scenes.
Experience how faith and preparation create opportunities for God’s favor to flow.
Don’t let fear hold you back from the blessings waiting on the other side of obedience. Join us for Week 2 of Nehemiah: “Favor Follows Faith”

Great movements of God often begin with one heart breaking for what breaks His.
At Heirloom Church, we explored the story of Nehemiah, uncovering how God uses ordinary people to ignite extraordinary change. Nehemiah wasn’t a king, prophet, or warrior—he was a cupbearer with a heart that couldn’t ignore the brokenness around him. His story challenges each of us to ask: What breaks my heart? What is God calling me to rebuild?
Instead of staying in comfort, Nehemiah let his heartbreak drive him to prayerful action, aligning his burden with God’s heart. In this message, we unpacked:
How Nehemiah’s deep burden led to bold faith and action.
Why prayer must be our first response to overwhelming challenges.
Practical lessons from Nehemiah’s leadership—trusting God, building unity, and persevering through opposition.
Nehemiah’s story reminds us that God positions us strategically to bring restoration. Whether it’s in your home, workplace, or community, you are uniquely called to step into the gap and rebuild what’s broken.
Let this message inspire you to say, “Here I am, Lord. Use me.”

This week at Heirloom Church, we’re continuing our Advent series, Pause, where we’re learning to slow down and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. In week three, we’re talking about pausing for joy.
Let’s be honest—joy can feel elusive. The weight of life’s circumstances, stress, and unmet expectations often overshadow the joy we’re meant to experience this season. But in Luke 2, we see the shepherds—ordinary, overlooked men—receive an extraordinary announcement of good news of great joy. It’s a joy not tied to circumstances but rooted in the arrival of Jesus Christ.
This Sunday, we’ll explore:
Why we struggle to experience joy.
Where the true source of joy is found.
How we can pause to receive and share this joy.
If you’re feeling weary, distracted, or simply longing for something deeper this Christmas, this message is for you. Pause with us this Sunday as we rediscover a joy that cannot be shaken—a joy that is found in Christ alone.

This week we’re diving into a message that cuts through the noise of the holiday season.
The Christmas rush—gifts, parties, and expectations—can drown out what truly matters: pausing to remember God’s love. In this powerful teaching, we explore:
How God Himself paused to rest (Genesis 2:2).
The example of Jesus, who paused in the middle of ministry to pray and reconnect with the Father (Mark 1:35).
How we can pause this season to love God, our loved ones, and others intentionally.
Amid the chaos, have you forgotten what peace feels like? Are you carrying burdens you were never meant to bear?
Take 30 minutes with us to discover the beauty of stopping—pausing for love. Because life’s rush can wait. God’s love can’t.
📖 “In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9-10)

This week, we explored Colossians 3:18-4:6, where Paul presents a BETTER WAY to live—finding true freedom through submission to Christ. True freedom isn’t the absence of authority but submission to the right authority—Jesus Christ. His lordship transforms every relationship, bringing harmony, purpose, and joy.
In the home, this BETTER WAY looks like mutual love, respect, and nurturing relationships that reflect God’s design. In work and social settings, it means serving and leading with integrity, working wholeheartedly for the Lord. In our witness, it’s living wisely, praying steadfastly, and letting our speech reflect the grace of Christ.
This life of freedom and transformation is only possible through Jesus Christ, the Creator of all things, who reconciles us to God through His death and resurrection. He is the author of true freedom and empowers us to live it out in every area of life.

In this week’s message, we dive into Colossians 2:16-24, where Paul addresses a deeply relatable struggle: feeling like we’re “not enough.” From early life to everyday moments, we’re often given the message that we don’t measure up—whether it’s from a coach, social media, or our own insecurities. Unfortunately, this sense of inadequacy can creep into our spiritual lives, leaving us striving to earn God's approval rather than fully enjoying His love.
But Colossians reveals a profound truth: we’re not meant to carry that weight. Through Jesus, we already have everything we need for a relationship with God. Dakota shares how we often live under the lie that we need to “do more,” “experience more,” or “sacrifice more” to be “enough” for God. Yet, as Paul reminds us, Jesus is more than enough—He has fulfilled every requirement on our behalf. When we receive the truth of the gospel, we can rest knowing that we are already fully accepted and loved by God.
Tune in to explore the freedom that comes when we rest in the truth that Jesus is enough. This message invites us to move from a performance-driven faith to one anchored in grace, drawing closer to God not to prove ourselves but to truly know and enjoy Him. Listen as we unpack what it means to let go of “not enough” and embrace the fullness found in Christ.
